I consider myself one of the lucky ones that my Karmic Koala install wasn't a Kolic Koala... :)

However, while I haven't found any major runtime or boot issues, I do have a problem where my system will not wake back up if I put it to sleep. I get glitches on the screen when I press the power button to wake it back up -- and it is locked up.

I have a Nvidia G275 and am using the restricted drivers.

I have also noticed that I see the CLI login screen 2 times on boot up which seems odd and I wonder if it is related.

Is there a way I can harvest some more information on to what causes the crash?

Thanks in advance,
Joe

This last time I tried the sleep option I actually got a different problem. The computer still hung but I got text on the screen that looked like a kernel dump which made little sense to me. Does anyone know where the text of this "dump" may be stored -- like a log file or something?

Thanks,
Joe
