View Full Version : [ubuntu] Use aMSN 0.97 or 0.97.2 for Ubuntu 8.04?

For Ubuntu 8.04 desktop edition... Is it more appropriate to use aMSN 0.97 instead of 0.97.2 ?
(Because Synaptic only display version 0.97)

Not understand why 0.97.2 is already came out more than one year, but it is not shown Synaptic list...

Could any one give me some please advise.

Hello,

there is no appropriate or not appropriate. It has to do with what fulfills your needs and your likings. I would suggest you to go and install the svn version (0.98 ) as it newer and with more features. Even though is beta, is pretty stable and I think far better. I think that the stable version won't take long to come out.
