postfix

I've managed to get postfix running on my web server to route emails out for my final year project at university. However i need a pc setting up at my university to run postfix too. But the sysadmins wont let me make any changed to the servers. Am i able to install postfix in my home directory and get it to run that way??? Thats the only place I am able to do it in. so it will be in like /home/angelo/
