sometimes when i move files around with the gui, then check again later they fail to be displayed in the gui, just get a circle telling me it's loading, forever, still there in the terminal and a reboot brings them back to view in the gui,
umm i wonder

Could be a bug in nautilus. But I heard ext4 isn't 100% stable yet, well I wouldn't use it on a mission-critical server. That said, I haven't had any problems with it on my desktop.

yea, not really a fatal flaw, just well, kindof .... human... umm,
maybe ubuntu has achived self-realization,
and decided, it's kinda of lazy, actually,,:popcorn:

I had problems converting a movie with Devede - sent the whole file sytem crazy. I re-installed Karmic using Ext3. Managed to get the DVD done then and it burned ok with K3b.
