tried to upgrade from 9.04 2.6.28-generic to 9.10 when it restarted the grub wont load either the 2.6.31 or 2.6.28 or the Windows Xp
the grub boot menu displays kernels 2.6.28 & 31 and the other os but it wont load them.
trying to load them it displays a message about not being able to find the initrd
I can boot to a live cd and mount the file system for both ubuntu and windows.
how can I get grub to boot either kernel?
