I recently upgraded to 9.10 from 9.04 on my dual boot (windows XP) Fujitsu tablet. The upgrade proceeded normally. Since then I have had the following intermittent problem when booting. The bootup proceed proceeds normally until the login screen appears.
The login screen only appears for an instant and then the X windows splash screen appears. I do not have auto login enabled. The splash screen freezes at the first image of the hard disk for perhaps 10 minutes. Then the normal login screen reappears and I can login normally. If I login to the console, there are no problems.
Any suggestions, or should I download the 9.10 disk and do a clean install.
