firefox failure after update

After linux updated earlier today, Firefox will not start. I get a tab at the bottom of the screen that says firefox is starting for about 10 seconds or so, then the tab disappears and firefox doesn't open.

Um it works now. I have no idea what happened, but it works.

I had the same problem a few hours ago with the same result it just started working.It had been working fine since I upgraded,I figured it was a firefox server hiccup.
