I logged into my new (week old) Ubuntu 9.10 installation tonight, and it appears my panels have disappeared...
Gnome seems to be working fine; I can create launchers and open apps. I'm actually using it right now to post. My panels just...aren't there. Any ideas?
Edit: Sorry, I probably should have tried this first. I ran gnome-panel manually, and the panels show up. Still kind of weird though. Why wouldn't it run at gnome startup?
