I notice the wording on the menu or task bar is always black. Is there a way to change the color of the font? I'd like for my task bar / menu bar to be black, but if I change to that color, obviously I can't see the words or know where to click for programs, system, etc.
I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 on a quad core AMD Phenom, with 4 Gig RAM dual booting with Windows 7 and Ubuntu on a split drive. Don't know if that makes a difference, but just thought I'd let you know in case it does. Oh, and it's 32 bit Ubuntu (I think).

Okay, I know I didn't reply to the last to posts I put up in 2008, but I actually found the solutions myself. (love to experiment and discover). However, this time I really need to know, and I'll check every day to see if someone answers me.
