Off a fresh install of Windows Vista, and I attempt to install Wubi via a second harddrive, and it reboots and gets to a pixelated ubuntu logo, with fades in and out. Followed by a mass of text that quickly disappears. Then the screen goes black for around 15 minutes then restarts and loads to the grub 1.95(not 2?) and i try to boot and it goes to the ubuntu logo then the screen goes blank and nothing happens.

So I shrank my primary partition, left unallocated space and made a boot disk to install from. I boot up the disc, select install. I get the fading logo again. the same mass of text, that sticks around longer, then the screen goes black. No HDD activity light or CDDVD Drive activity light. Once again, nothing happens.
