ubuntu and sbc global dsl

Hey you guys whats up? Im new with ubuntu and Im having a hard time getting connected to my isp. I followed the help file about connecting to dsl but its not working. Im using wubi 9.10. I know its not a hardware or connection problem because my internet works fine in windows. I think my problem lies in some sort of dhcp or pppoe setting that I dont understand.

Wireless and networking are a mess in 9.10 on all kinds of hardware. Read the posts here and you'll see.

ok. i been looking for an excuse to get the new 50gbps broadband they have in town anyways.
