Ok, I want to do a fresh 9.10 install, but for some reason, my software raid won't go away from the set up process and my single 250gb HD won't show up. I've booted using the nodmraid option from the F6 boot option. If I do that, no hard drives show up in the installer, but if I boot to the live CD, I see my four individual hard drives. But installer wont' see them. I've used gparted in the live CD to erase the partitions and redo the drives. Even then, it sees the old software raid and I can't get past it. I don't want to install the system to the raid. The raid is used for storing my computer images.

How can I get rid of any existence of the old software raid and see the four individual drives in the installer?!?!?

Forget it. I used my 9.04 CD to install 9.04 as it recognized my hard drives properly and will hopefully be able to upgrade to 9.10 before installing my FOG server and creating the Raid5 array again.

Yet one more reason why Linux won't be mainstream any time soon.
