9.10 strange sound problem (gradually become silent)

I just upgraded to 9.10 from 9.04. Everything works fine except the sound.
When I open a audio or video, the sound works normally at the beginning, but after a couple of seconds (less than 20s), the sound became weaker and weaker and then went totally silence. When I log out and then log in, the sound can come out and then repeat the same process.

Anyone has the same problem or give me some suggestion on it?

Sure I am serious.
One thing may be mentioned is that I also encountered sound problem (just no sound) when I first install 9.04. Later I solved it according to web posts but I forgot how.
