hello.

I have been working in openGL for only about 2 months. I'm an absolute beginner. I got a task to do.. it goes:

"Draw a filled circle colored blue which is rolling along x-axis colored red, and velocity of rolling is interactively changing when we click "<" and ">" on keyboard."

Well, I know how to draw a circle, but I don't know how to make it roll.. I've looked in The Red Book, read many tutorials and discusions on the web, and didn't find anything about rolling a circle. :(

Help any? I would appreciate it a lot!

Id suggest you look up GlRotateF(); (f for float, i for int .. etc) the capitaliztion might be a little off, its been a while since my opengl days.

For the movment of the circle, you will have to register a keyboard call back function.

Should be enough to get you started
