I might be missing something simple here and it isn't earth shaking but I remember being able to move between desktops by using my mouse scroll wheel after clicking on a blank space of the desktop I was currently working in.

Is this gone in the new 9.10?

It was such a simple way to change desktops.

Ya this got unset for me too. Go to System>>Preferences>>CompizConfig Settings Manager
Click On Desktop>> Viewport Switcher
Go to the last tab, Desktop Based Viewport Switching, and set the mousewheel buttons you want to use. I used button 4 for left, and 5 for right.

Did you do a fresh install of 9.10?

CompizConfig Settings Manager was not installed by default.

Just wondering. <g>

Ya know I used to be able to drag one open app unto the adjacent window too and have it show up there and leave the one I dragged it form. That feature is gone too.

Any ideas there?
