Up to Jaunty, the Login Window item under System->Administration let me change many parameters related to auto login, displayed user names, XDMCP, ...
With Karmic, the tabbed GUI has been dismissed.
Is there a way to get it back or set the same - so delicate - options inside another GUI?
Be Karmic with you!

I know that the GDM has been stripped off to let it quickly start, but... hey... I just loved it and enjoyed my XDMCP chooser and my customized GDM themes....
Is there a way to take away this newly brown login screen and bring back the past conventions without breaking/hacking the system?

Well, as Mike B said... it's a start.
Thanks darkod.

Mine is the same skotos. I've seen this issue reported as a bug.
