I have recently moved my /home directory to a new partition prior to a clean install of karmic. When I then installed karmic I was not able to change the /Home directory to Ext4. Is this possible or does it need reformatting to do that. If I was to move the directory to an external drive presumably I could format to Ext4 before moving home back? Thanks in advance for any help offered.
