Help Needed: Install Ubuntu 9.10 DVD from USB

Hello friends i am new to Ubuntu

I just downloaded the Ubuntu 9.10-i386.iso "DVD" image from the internet.
Actually i have a faulty DVD drive which does't work so i need a method to install this dvd using a USB drive. I have a 8gb USB drive and also a 320 gb USB harddisk.

The real problem is that i am unable to find the boot images to boot from a USB stick on this DVD as i could easily find them on Slackware and CentOS

so please suggest a method

i also have Ubuntu 9.04 installed

the "usb creation" button is disabled when i select the 9.10 DVD image file, but when i choose the 9.04 cd image the button is enabled again...so this is't working.

the space could not be a problem as i have a 8 GB USB disk and the DVD image is approx 3944 MB

all those method work fine for CD image but not working for DVD image...UNetBootin simply crashes for DVD and usb-creator does copy things but on booting from USB an error comes saying "kernal image not found"

Why is this getting impossible??? other distros make this stuff so easy...

Help People !!!!!!

I downloaded 3944MB of data on a 256Kbps connection, it took some 4 days to download me this DVD and now i can't install it kinda frustates me...:(
