Being cautious of the new release after reading the posts here, I decided to load in as a virtual machine. The CD image would stop loading at 73%, but when I mountained the ISO image on my hardrive of my Host machine, it loaded and installed without any problems. I have not noticed any slow downs & all hardware works. I connected to my XP and Jaunty shares without any problems either. (wireless).
I didn't find the software updater as much of a problem as I read in posts. It does seem a little slow, but all updates cued up and installed without problems.
My laptop is an older Gateway with 1gb ram and a 60 gig HD.
