I've been having a lot of *.py extensions crashing in an upgrade of Karmic. I've had a lot of panel applets crash resulting in Apport launching saying it cannot report the crash because it's a PY extension.
The biggest annoyance crash is gsearch, or gnome-search. It launches the search box from either the Main Menu or the panel applet. In the meantime I have to open a terminal and run
locate (file)
It's annoying.
Why is this happening?
Also, does Apport stop launching after so many time of hitting the same crash? It's no longer launching after gsearch crashes.
Lastly, what's the site for reporting possible bugs so I can let someone know about this one. Thanks.
