Well this is my first thread so go ez
Im trying to install 9.10 karmic off my already existing UNR 9.04
Everytime i try it fails. I know why, it says something about the tmp blablabla (check out attached log of my attempt to manually install). The reason for the tmp issues im pretty sure is because i removed the swap in order to put less stress on the CF card im using as my SSD, and now everything is dedicated to RAM, but for some reason its causing issues. Any suggestions/ leads on how to fix this, preferably without having to add a swap.
To make things more fun, something happened to the Gconf, so now any GUI based search for anything becomes a pain
