Hello,

I would like to keep my carefully and painfully long designed KDE 3.5 desktop up and running on a fresh install of KK.
How can I install a KDE 3.5 version of KK? I would like to have a minimal KDE 4.3 dependency in the new installation. There is to say, I DON'T WANT kde 4.3 AT ALL.
Should I put KDE 3.5 on top of a xubuntu installation?
Should I install Kubuntu, install kde 3.5 and then uninstall 4.3?

How can I do that?

Thank a lot !

Thanks for the reply and sorry for not being able to find the link by myself.
Anyway, I friend of mine just tried the KK on his notebook (intel platform) - he tells me it's a catastrophe - so I guess i'll stick with HH for a while.

Solved - fallback to Kubuntu Hardy Heron waiting for a real LTS release.
