I was going to wait a couple of weeks before upgrading to 9.10 - I've been running 9.04 without any problems and wanted to wait until the peak demand was past and most of the big issues were resolved. Instead I'm prepping for a clean install of 9.10 - because the update partially upgraded me to 9.10 and hosed my sound an a bunch of other things.
I explicitly did not select the upgrade. Why does the update not recognize this?
Now I get to waste the rest of my weekend rebuilding my system. Thanks a bunch. After several flawless upgrades, this really is a big leap backwards.
