Ubuntu 9.1 Acer Aspire 6920 touchpad not working

As stated above, when i upgraded from 9.04 the touchpad stopped working altogether - so now i have to plug in a mouse

Anyone else have this problem, any thoughts ?

I'm having the same issue with a Dell inspiron 6000. I upgraded from 9.04 to 9.1 and now the touchpad is not working.

I'd like to see the solution as well.
