By installing the latest version of UBUNTU (9.10) by the GRUB (my computer does not recognize the LIVE CD) it reported a lot of bugs and errors, I've tried so hard to fix it, but it kept bugging, so I decided to install the 9.04 version...

I had only this error:

MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC

So I searched the forums and fixed it by going into BIOS and disabling IOAPIC.

Now the MP-BIOS does not bugs, but UBUNTU does not boots by the grub (doesn't even goes to the menu with the options 'install' 'install without any modifications'...) it goes to the busybox (initramfs)

My configurations:

Core: AMD Athlon 64, 3500+
Motherboard: Asus M2N-MX
Chipset: North Bridge: AMD Hammer DDR2 IMC | South Bridge: nVIDIA nForce 6100+430 (MCP61P)
Hard Drive: SAMSUNG SP2504C
