Hello,

I try to install Xubuntu or Ubuntu 9.10 alternate, desktop ...

All the time i have a popup. The title is 'Boot Loader' with a OK button.

In this popup windows, there is several sentences written, depending on the version.

with xubuntu alternate : /install/fmlinuz
with ubuntu desktop : live-install
if i try to boot try live cd : /cas`er/vmlinuz

Then i push the key ENTER, and nothing happens.

The live-CD (desktop version) works perfectly on a other PC, i try also 386 and AMD64 versions, so i don't think it is a image or burn problem's.

The Mother board is an A7N8X from ASUS.

I am french. I hope my explain are explicite and well understand.

best regards

Jean PETER
