I have a problem. Some time ago, as you probably remember, I had lots of problems with Vista. It ended up to be a fatal problem in its drive that eventually killed it, and not Ubuntu. The problem is, when I replaced the drive and re-installed Vista, it "ate up" the GRUB dual-boot screen, and now I can't use Ubuntu (the change-drive-to-load-in-BIOS-thing doesn't work for Ubuntu). I wanted to upgrade to 9.10 but I wanted to keep all my settings and files, so I need to update using the Synaptic update thing. Please help me.
Thanks in advance,
