Hi
I just upgraded to 9.10. It worked perfect on a EEE PC 1005H and a Dell M1330XPS laptop. However on my Dell Dimension E521 I noted that the kernel number did not change in the boot menu. It is still 2.6.28 but it should be 2.6.31. Or?
I understand this is one possible reason for e.g. missing sound?
Can someone explain to a complete Linux dummy how to get the correct version loaded??
