Wubi and Windows 7?

I am considering trying Ubuntu 9.10 (see what all the fuss is about!:p). Does anyone know whether Wubi works with Windows 7 and if the Windows drivers are recognised with Ubuntu?

I'd like to know if they fixed something, but as far as this thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1063005), it's some kind of bootloader problem. I really want to know for sure though.

Actually, it does. I just took a chance and installed Kubuntu Netbook Remix thru Wubi on my Win7 netbook. It's working pretty quickly and non-quirky. It appeared right on the bootloader from the jump.
