F-Spot crash during photo export by email

Using F-Spot in my latest Ubuntu release (karmic) there is an incredible bug:

If you select a variable number of photo from 2 up to as you want, and you try to send it by email [Photo -> send by email] the program crash and no email is built.

I have the same problem. F-spot in karmic seems very unstable, and exception handling is not user friendly. For example if an extension or a feature needs some other tools to be installed on your computer, f-spot will crash if cannot find it.
