Hello all,
I've recently upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10 and there is no login screen, just a command line which asks for a user name and password. I can then login see all my files using dir and cd etc, but there is no GUI. I'm not very good with terminal commands. I've tried booting up in recovery mode and fixing broken packages and updating GRUB, not it doesn't seem to help. I'm using a Fujitsu Seimens Esprimo mobile with Sis Mirage 3 Graphics and Intel Core 2 Duo. Any suggestions?

Ps. My other PC upgraded seemlessly...
