problems with upgrading to ubuntu 9.10

I just upgraded to Karmic and now there's this warning on my panel that says "One or more disks is failing: Disk has many bad sectors". What do I do?

Well how old is your disk etc?

I would just recommend making sure you have a backup as your drive might be near the end of its life...

you'll need a way to save your 'stuff', but this will give you the idea
