OK I posted this in the server section and thought I had the answer but no.
I was running 9.04 desktop and went from that to 9.04 server with no problems. (Needed to get past the 3g memory limit)
I upgraded to 9.10 and went with the desktop version because I thought it would be simple to go to server from there... I know it was a painless transition the last time but I can't find my notes on how I did it!
I need server now because I am taking classes that entail learning W Server03 and I want 9.10 Server to compare and so I can learn both.
I can still boot into the older version of server, it says that it is Server 9.10 but has the older kernel still. (2.6.28 )
I have searched here and on line for the instructions I need with no luck.
