Firstly, I must declare that I'm pretty sleepy... so be warned; there will be typos.
I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) from 9.04 (Jaunty).
Now, it seems my Thinkpad (model R61i) won't recognize my wireless-card.
I've been through this before in the older distros, so please don't lecture me with the newbish old "You need to go to System>Preferences>Hardware Drivers"-tutorial.
Yes, I've been through that.
Also, I tried installing the madwifi-tools package which seems to be (re?)moved.
ifconfig only gives me the internal loopback- and ethernet-interface.
Any ideas? ... HALP~ ;_;
