9.10 downgrade to jaunty

Hi folks,

I have just on-line upgraded to 9.10. And foolishly did not make a system backup fisrt.

Ok my home dir is on its own partion. So I think I can just install jaunty from the dsik and all will be fine, if I backup etc, and opt?

then reinstall the relivant software? yes?

Well, if you tell the 9.04 installer to use your existing /home partition as /home but NOT to format it, then it will be unscathed. If you want a clean install, I think you should format the / directory so that you have a clean install of 9.04. That's what I would do anyway.
