upgade crap process.

trying to get to 9.10 from 8.10. Trying to get 9.04 to install from the alternate CD. it insists on going to the network. This is complete crap!
I've been going through this for 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

NObody is going to take this serious if upgrade is such a crap process.

Says it's downloading 1300+ update and then craps out!

Upgrade should go like this.
8.10 -->9.04 -->9.10 not 8.10 -->9.10

You can install ubuntu without internet,but if it's available,it will use it to install updates and language packets,what's wrong with that?

And maybe you can stay with one topic please?

Please read what I posted. 9.04 is where it's failing on the way to 9.10.
