Cannot access filesystem after upgrede to karmic

"An application is attempting to perform an action that requires privileges. Authentication as the super user is required to perform this action." Thats what it says when i try to open my partitions, but i have no idea what it might be. Help is needed.

Is that message in window?If it is then in that window you have option authenticate ( it it key icon I believe).Click on that and another window will pop up and enter your password in it.
