I've been used Ubuntu for about 3 years. This week I finally got it extactally the way I'd like it. Then came the advisor of a new version available. Then I jumped in!
during he proccess of instalation of new packages, my computer turned off. When I turned it on again, Grub came with the same entries of Jaunty, but during the boot it returned an error:
Not possible to mount all partitions in fstab, mountall aborting. Still waiting response.
Then shows the alternative to open terminal. I ran dpkg --configure -a and it returned that my file system was read-only and didn't have access to status area.
I posted my fstab and fdisk-l here: http://pastebin.com/m200bbb6b
