utube-ripper not working

hi im on 9.10 ubuntu and ive just installed utube-ripper
its installed correctly and everything
but when i click on the icon it doesnt load?

is it not compatible with 9.10?

i have the same problem with GTK and Qt versions of Utube ripper

If your using firefox download helper is a good add on, you can set it to download files simultaneously, and format, and it covers a wide variety of formats.
