Completed fresh install today. Dual boot windows 7 and ubuntu. I have no wireless and popping sound that continues even if sound is shut off. Wireless is enabled and network manager is in startup. Wireless worked fine in 9.04. I have hp dv6405. It does have a wireless slider however the slider never seemed to matter in 9.04. Wireless worked regardless of its position and the light was always red. Also, computer would not wake up after put to sleep. Suggestions?
