I think I've found a bug in Gnome, which I can describe quite simply:
When I close the last window on a desktop, any keyboard shortcut that is Ctrl-Alt-(something) stops working. If I open another window by, say, starting the terminal, it starts working again.
The obvious shortcuts are a manual shortcut that I set up to start a terminal (Ctrl-Alt-T) and the keyboard shortcut that switches desktops (Ctrl-Alt-Left/Right). None of these work if I close the last window in a specific desktop.
Hardware is an Asus Eee901 running Karmic. I think this is a Gnome bug, because I see the same behaviour in Arch Linux as well.
Any ideas? Anything I can provide to help debug this?
