just installed 9.10 everything is great... but grub?

i have 9.10 and vista on dual boot with grub.... but its 1.97beta not grub2? i thought 9.10 came with grub 2?

1.97 is grub2 and.

The older Grub was Grub 0.97 if that is any consolation. I think Grub 2.0 equals to Grub 1.97(?)
