Booting both ubuntu and Kubuntu.In grub list both show up as Ubuntu.Like to change one to Kubuntu.what entree do I make to do this ? went in to /etc/grub.d/10_linux Can not find what to change ?

I believe what you want is /boot/grub/menu.lst - you can pretty much edit to fit towards the bottom of the file.

Thanks That just what I wanted to do.looks like grub2 may not be to hard to use.just got the hang of grub.I'll get use to grub2
