I have a IBM T41 and am trying to install 9.10. I have downloaded both the desktop and alternate ISO's. I have burnt onto different discs and the same thing happens.
It runs through the installation fine, advises it is now ready to restart the machine to boot for the first time, its reboots and then immdiately displays 'error: no such device: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx'
I have done a full zero erase of the harddrive and reattempted and still the exact same thing occurs.. I have had previous versions of Ubuntu running on the same machine without issue.
Am I missing something here??
