Guys,
Love the work you're doing and 9.10. I'm actually a fairly recent convert, installing Ubuntu 9.04 on my netbook some months ago and finally ditching XP for 9.10 today - all in all, feeling it's almost time to crack out the :popcorn:
Anyway, an odd situation has developed that I can't get my head around; I've tried searching for the problem but assume my lack of technical know-how means I'm using the wrong search terms, so here goes.
I've installed a number of Ubuntu (and Ubuntu based OS's) on my desktop and have been using the grub loader (1.97 beta2 at present I think). In any event, having ceased my period of experimentation, I instructed the partitioner to use the entire disk to install 9.10 desktop version afresh. However, even having done this twice, my 9.04 netbook version (installed earlier) is still present and working.
Why hasn't the partitioner overwritten and left me with just 9.10 desktop as I wanted?
