hey guys,
disclaimer: I'm not an ubuntu user. I'm not a programmer.
do you guys think it would be better to be able to do upgrades, either only for new releases or incremental updates, via bittorrent?
i was updating my bros eee (which runs ubuntu) on release day and the download alone took about 4 hours. i know there is apt-p2p but i dont know how well it works. i have not used a deb based distro in a long time. seems like it could be done and would be benificial to users if given the option.
