Ubuntu 9.10 X.Org 100% processor use

According to bug reports this is apparently fixed, it is not.
Upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10.

System settings Intel Pentium D Dual Core
Display: Intel G965 Express
Software Ubuntu 9.10 with crypt setup.

Any help or work arounds for this bug?
Its rendered my ubuntu system unusable.

Tested on Xfrc Fluxbox Gnome and KDE problem occurs on each with X.Org using 98-100% of my processor.

Logging in then logging out for me does not solve the issue.
Any help is appreciated.
