I'm attempting to upgrade but have shortage of disk space on / (eeepc 901 with 4 GB partition). If I remove packages like openoffice, mozilla, etc to reduce disk space, do the 9.10 upgrade, and then reinstall them, will the settings all be as per the original because they are in my /home directory?
Another question, am attempting to upgrade directly from the net, would upgrading from either a cd or from usb stick overcome this problem?
