I am wanting to remaster Ubuntu for my parents. Dad (keeps infecting and breaking the computer) whereas mom is too paranoid and wont even turn a PC on.
So I am wanting to build a simple bootable CD with Firefox, Meda Players, Adobe and Java. I want to customize the guest login so that all the other confusing bits are hidden from their view.
I am using the docs at http://www.linuxtoday.com/news_story.php3?ltsn=2009-08-04-003-35-OS-UB
But where are the docs that would take the guest desktop settings I prep on the development platform and copy them into the new build image?
