Finally I got my Ubuntu upgrade to 9.10 from 9.04 at this afternoon. No good.

During the installation process, the python-launchpad-integration_0.1.26_I386.deb was not able to install. The wizard has generated a report in order for me to send to Ubuntu team to fix the defect. When I send out the report, it prompts me an error message saying that “Cannot connect to crash database, please check your Internet connection”. I am sure the network cable is still stick to my laptop, most probably the proxy server have blocking my way. After this, a warning message prompts to me saying that some recovering settings going to run now. After clicking on the OK button the installation wizard disappear.

Is that means the installation process was failed? Because base on my previous experience of upgrading Ubuntu, the wizard will run the cleaning process right after the installation process, but now it doesn’t.

After reboot, I saw a white ubuntu logo on the screen, few second later the logo disappears and I heard the Ubuntu logon sound. Then the screen goes blank. NOTHING!!

Does anyone know how this going to be resolve?

THanks @!
